Carson McEvoy is a writer and Minnesota native. His first novella, A Thin Place, takes place in the northern Superior Forest and was published by Dead Fox Publishing in August 2026. His debut mystery novel is forthcoming from The Wild Rose Press.

A school psychologist by training, Carson lives just outside of the Twin Cities with his wife and various furred creatures in an 1886 farmhouse.

In his spare time, Carson enjoys cooking, listening to too many podcasts, playing the trumpet, and wrangling his cats.

He’s been a life long fan of horror, especially slow burn or atmospheric stories and movies. In mystery, he loves class golden age detective novels and modern tales that twist and play with the genre.
